About us
Mo Money Pawn was founded in 1988 by Rodney Sands. Rodney took a run-down strip mall and converted it a destination for customers all over Arizona as the best pawn shop in the state. A massive inventory, friendly service as well as the best interest rates around has made Mo Money the friend that Arizonans turn to in need. The business is family operated with his son Eric at the helm and several other family members coming up through the ranks.
Fast forward to November 6, 2021, after eleven months of COVID-era construction Mo Money Pawn opened the doors to its’ brand-new state of the art location built simultaneously on the same lot as its’ 72-year-old predecessor. One of the only pawn shops of its’ kind in the United States, the new building being built to be highly efficient and solar lessens the operations carbon footprint and will allow Mo Money Pawn to remain competitive far into the future.
