Mo Money Pawn Shop is a licensed firearms dealer in Phoenix, Arizona. Whether you're looking to pawn a gun you already own or purchase a new one, we invite you to come in and talk with our friendly staff. Before you do, there are a few things we'd like you to know about purchasing a firearm from us.
Like any shop that deals with guns, a pawn shop must abide by state and federal laws. This means that we are fully licensed to buy, sell, and pawn firearms by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and Explosives. If you plan on selling or purchasing a gun from us, you must understand the laws you'll be subject to.
A well-used gun may still function perfectly fine, but obvious signs of physical damage could mean a gun that doesn't function at all or doesn't function safely. A gun that is in good mechanical condition but worse for wear aesthetically will not have as much value as a like-new firearm. If you don't feel confident assessing the damage level of a firearm, stick with those that do not show any visible marks after a thorough
inspection.
Custom modifications can alter the value of a gun. Well-done mods can increase the value, while poorly done modifications may impair the gun's function. Be sure to check the feel and function of the gun to ensure everything works smoothly, and no poor mods hamper functionality. If you have mods on a gun you'd like to pawn, be sure to bring the documentation outlining what work was done and who did it.
The barrel plays an important role in the function and safety of a firearm. Before examining the barrel of any gun, you should make sure the gun is not loaded. After doing so, look down the barrel for any signs of damage. The barrel should be round and rust-free. Bulging or distortion in the barrel is bad. It's normal for the barrel of a gun to be a little dirty, but too much build-up could indicate a problem.
Before working the action or dry firing the gun, it's important to ask permission. Once you've been granted permission, ensure that the action is smooth and that it locks up firmly. If the action binds, you'll want to choose another gun. It's also important to test the weight of the trigger. This is mostly personal preference. A trigger that's too light or too heavy will impact your ability to use the gun safely and effectively.
We are proud to support the second amendment, and along with it, your right to own a gun for any legal purpose. As a licensed FFL dealer, we must take our civic responsibility seriously. This means following all rules and regulations set forth for FFL dealers by the ATF. These rules include conducting National Instant Criminal Background Checks (NICS).
If you're ready to pawn your gun or purchase a quality firearm, then we invite you to visit Mo Money Pawn Shop.
